The not worth to mention part!!

OHHH goshhh this is unbelieveble!! I just realised that among my "not worth to mention part" was the fact that I went to Vietnam for like 10 days..
I cannot believe myself to write it off as not worth to mention....=_=''
During my ten days stay in Vietnam, I went from Dong Nai, to Nha Trang.. the fact that I got to meet my relatives and everyone again was really nice, because I haven't been to Vietnam since winter 2006/2007. Everyone  there has changed a lot...especially my girl cousin Nhu, she looks soooo cute now...I'm proud of my younger cousins..heheh...

The day I arrived Vietnam- Ho Chi Minh City, only few of my relatives were able to come and pick me up, 2 uncles and one ½uncle( my auntie's boyfriend) and two cousins (one of them is stuyding in HCM city right now so he could come and meet me for a while before going back to class).. The ten days there went by really fast especially when I spent 12 hours on a bus for a round around trip from Dong Nai to Nha Trang and that everyone there was busy with school, business and everything else.

I met my pregnant aunt and she looks terrible but full of joy because she is finally pregnant with a girl...she was like I hope my daugther will be like you ( hahaha are u sure you want that auntie? your sweet niece is not as sweet as you think she is..xP)

Everywhere I go all my aunts prepared a lot of food with a lot of vegetables for me...Ohh how I've missed vietnamese food and especially freeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh food.... *drooling*
One of the most enjoyable moment is that I got to meet my dad's family (or my step-father's family) never met them before but everyone seems to like me, as the days went by....I really love to spend time with my step-sister and brother in Nha Trang together with my cousin Liem that went to Nha Trang with me. During the 3days-2night trip to Nha Trang we got chance to do a lot of things, such as going to "Cho Dam" (rumours are that there are a lot of pick-pocketers but I didn't met any ..Lucky?).
"Thap Ba Resort" where me, Liem and My step-sister Tran aka Ly, went to had a really nice mud bath and hotsprings...It was so much fun to soak into the hot springs after a cold bath in the mud......Interesting!!!
We also went to "Nha Trang night market" it's not as big as the one I'm used to in ShiLin or other places in Taipei, one of the reason might be because the days I was in Nha Trang was during the rain seasons so not many stands were open. At "Suy Thi Moi" (department store) where we bought the most ridiculous ice cream ever ( on the picture it looks sooo big but when I got it, it was like a dot on the red tray that they gave me) - my cousin and step-brother Trong aka Bo.. made fun of the waitress, well it's partly her fault for looking all grumply hahhaa..... but I had a nice time.

Before and after I went to Nha Trang, I stayed in Dong Nai, almost everynight me and my "little older cousins" had night meeting where we and some of my cousins friends met up together and "Nhau"  it's like, drinking (most part), but had some snacks on the side and talking and playing card games..it was so much fun, especially when we played outdoor on a mattress on the street... with only one street light on the whole street...
Seriously I think there is a wacko gene in my family, or at least my mother's side of family.... I remember that my mom clearly told me aunties that they were supposed not to let me drive the scouters when I was in Vietnam while going out with my cousins...but guess what??? sure I was not allowed to drive scouters in Vietnam because the traffic is dangerous there and my cousins are too young to handle the situations if something were to occur... but that doesn't mean that I was allowed to drive while being together with my aunts...or so I thought...hahah Because one of my aunt was like, Ann, just drive me there, and there and there.... well of course it should stay as a secret to your mom....xP my aunt is cool!!!
It was really nice when we had hot pot with only one light candle because of the electric shortage in Vietnam, where they just shut off electricity without prior notices....

Going shopping with Nhu is really nice, because I have my own driver and own bargainer..I've got some skills when it comes to bargaining, but my younger cousin is even better hahahah!!!! I love that girl..cannot imagine few years ago wherever I went she was tagging along behind my back, but now all grown up (or at least teenager) and now how to bargain better than me...


Goodbyes are really hard to me, because I don't know how I should reacts because..I'm sad that I'm leaving my relatives, but I think I'm pretty cold person, the reason is because I hardly cry, or actually I haven't cried for years.... so I can't really get emotional when saying bye..just like..ermm... Bye and Hug..then run off to the check-in...that's it...wierd right?

1 month in Sweden, both joys and sadnesses

Well, well actually right now I'm in Southkorea, but I wanted to update a little about my life during the one month I was back in Sweden....Where shall we begin with the story?? ok...
Looong loong time ago.... just kidding.
         I came back to Sweden on the 22nd of Jan, around 11.30 pm which was really late, after I finnished taking my luggage and every bags that I had, I went out from the door and there I saw my parents and brother included, waiting for me at the gate. My mom squized me soo hard that it was hard for me to breathe but at least I know that she is happy that I'm back.. My dad didn't said that much just looked at me  and said, I've prepared your favorite food...
    We headed out to the car and put everything in the back. On the way home it was terrible, because the road that usually took us 1h30min took us almost 3 hours, because the outside was dark, foggy, and last but not least slippery roads...but of course we reached my home safely.

The day after the day I came home I  found out that we had and ice rink in our backyard which really made my stay in Sweden enjoyable (of course this is only one of the reasons). Also met some cute kids during my time on the ice...taught them so moves hihihi..
I was so happy to see my piano again after 4 months, and it was so much fun just to press some random keys :DDD
I was so happy when I had Susanne coming to my place and stayed there for like 2 days 1 night =)) we had so much to catch up with each other and we also Skyped with Sue....
Susanne's quote " I want to help you fold ur cloths but I'm afraid I will mess it up and you will yell at me" hahah...don't worry girl, I'm not some neatfreak so you don't have to be worry!

During my stay in Sweden I met up with some friends and we had an overnight "party" with laserdome ( we played 60 mins, 3 games in total, I came 6th place twice and fell down to the 10th place during the last game. for your information I wasn't last we were 12 ppl !!!! I did pretty well for it being my first time) and Alias and talking..Gosh I've missed these guys but some ppl were still missing, I felt so sad that I couldn't meet up with the other before I go away again...

The rest of the stay was pretty much trying to get all the necessary papers, visit my old work place to say hi to my boss...
I was so touched when I talk to my boss, she was like when will you be back in Sweden permanent, by then if you still want to work at my place just give me a call, you are always welcome back here...oh and whenever you want, take you family to the restaurant and have dinner, I will treat you all.
My boss has always been nice to me, but after she said that I was really touched ^^,

Nothing much happened during the rest of the stay, went to Rusta to buy some stuff, while my parents bought Couple Sweaters for the Valenine's day ( So Jealous, even I don't have a valentine's date and my parents with all their couple and rosy thingy!!!).

Smörgåstårta

hmm...it's been almost like 3 months since then...I don't remember what else I did......Oh I did make an Smörgåstårta,

I also got to know that my parents were going to move again =_='' because the winter in the new house was too cold for them so they wanted to move back to Furuhall, the ghetto area..which I don't like...

The one thing that I was most happy about was that I finally got my system camera (SLR) Canon 500D soo happy with 2 lenses!! even though it was kinda expensive and I had to break my piggy to have enough money but still..!! no regrets
Ohhh, forgot to say that I helped my brother and dad to buy ticket to Vietnam this summer, both of the will be like stay there for a whole month, I also want to go there!!!

Well well that was pretty much everything and off we go to South Korea, Seoul!!!

After midterm and before going back

Hello Everybody!! Near and far! Happy NEW YEAR (both western and Lunar New YEAR)!! (maybe too late but well)
It's been a long time since a wrote something on my blog...well to be more exact it's been 4 months since I wrote something new...
Like always a lot of things have happened around me.It's hard to remember everything now after such a long time but I'll try to summarize everything that I've done..
I've finnished my mid-term plus my finals, been to WuLai hotsprings which was terrific, and there I saw a WHOLE BBQ PIG! want some part?? *chop chop*

I've also had chance to become an english teacher for 16 middle school students, their english was really good for being so you and have english as their second language. The round around trip took me approx. 2hrs.
I also went to the KTV for the first time with my friends from International Business Management Program. We had an wonderful night with the included Buffé =))) before leaving the place everyone said that we were supposed to go to the class in 6 hours but guess what??? I stayed overnight at a friend's place and left there at 7 o'clock to go to class only me and Tina showed up.. everyone else were "sick".

And some other stuff happened but not worth to mention.. OH!! maybe one thing I bought my ice skates and after waiting for 2 months I finally got them .

I've also had an all night out together with my roommates+ Kitty. First, me, Judy, Spirit and Winnie went to my favorite place, which was Polar Bear Ice Rink. We spent 3 hours there afterwards to a hotpot place and then to the Cinema. Last but not least we also had KTV night (started from 1am to 5am) together with my roommates (except for sherry because she wasn't *feeling good*=hangover) . They were really nice a treated me for my ticket for the KTV. The most funniest thing was that when everyone leaving for work and everything we were on our way home... >.<
The sad part is that Spirit and Winnie have to go back home so I cannot see here anymore before leaving  Taiwan =((. And everyone else also left afterwards!
Me and Judy was the last one in the dorm, and had a lot of things to do! The funniest thing is that I had a lot of clothes and I was sooo afraid that I had to pay for the overweight TT_TT

After leaving the dorm I was still going to stay in Taiwan for another 3 days, luckily Joan let me stay at her place.. She treated me really nice and what was really nice was that her place had jacuzzi bath and everything sooooooooooo nice!! And talk about big room!




During my stay in Joan's place I visited Taipei international flora expo and Taipei 101 ( amazing place) and also Taipei Arena. On my way home from Taipei Arena I fell asleep on the bus and ended up in Shipai (on the red line) there I bought some food before going back to Jo's place. I was lucky on the day I  left Taiwan, and really thank you Jo for all the help, because she had to wake up early to see me off and helped to carry some of my stuff, then the taxi driver only took me 1000 NT talk about cheap! Then the guy at the counter didn't charge me for the overweight fee.. And OFF we goo!!!

Life is not always easy for one, especially if you are like me and being lazy is your second nature (or even the first one.)

I know I've promised to upload my pictures to the blog, but as mentioned before I'm lazy so that's the best excuse I can give!
Since the last time I updated 2 weeks+ have passed by, a lot of things have happened, but I don't know where to start....( well that might be one of the reasons why I need to update my blog a "little" more frequently)
Firstly I went to a junior high school close to LongShan temple and sit in the class while my friend is there as a teacher! it was a nice experience!!! and it was so funny when the students were walking back and forth spotted me and then talk to each other in chinese and asked who I was.. Well I don't look like being 16 so of course they will be curious why this Obaa-san is sitting among the students hahah...
A student also called me Teacher.. it was a nice experience hihihi ^^,
I've also celebrated halloween, dressed up as a Geisha with a blue flowered pattern kimono.. We went to Luxy for our halloween celebration.. the other exchange student dressed up as Zombies; Clown zombie, masked zombie and...hohoho...secret!

And I have a friend who dressed up as "little red riding HOOD"! but when we told her the english title of it she repeated and said.. "litte red riding WHO?"

I've also been to nice dates..movie, dinner, drinking, walking and windowshopping! it was long time since I had real dates..

This week is the most famous MIDTERM week for me! I have had 2 exams for now and 1 presentatio have 1 pres. left and 1 exam. I did the ppt for the presentation which a was pretty pleased with! Not to mention my wonderful "partner" had a terrible weekend so he ended up almost forgetting about the pres... xP

Yesterday I went to Carrefour in ZhiShan to "buy" (or at least my intention was) monosodium glutamate, peppar and bread... I ended up buying stuff for 2200 NT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! most of them were snacks..but the most expensive items were toothpaste, laundry detergent and so on.... so actually my food itself wasn't that expensive..I packed everything in a paperbox and had to take a taxi back home.. when my roomates saw it they guessed all sort of things but they became shocked when they heard what was inside.. =_=''
I also cooked for the first time in a looooooooooooong time...kinda missed my food...

Looking forward to tomorrow's end then I will have an after-exam celebration, on friday shilin nightmarket and on Sunday to WuLin which is 40 min from XinDian... hotsprings!!!!!!!yeahhhooo look forward!

hohoho...1 month once?

I just realized that I’m really lazy when it comes to updating my blog. Because the last time I updated was like a month ago…

A lot of things have happened since that.  For the first I joined the school’s traditional dance club which is really interesting because is such a different than what I’m used to dance. Ohh!!! Just to let you guys know that tomorrow (or actually today because here in Taiwan it’s already 00.38 am.) I have a dance performance/ competition kind of? So I’ve done lots of Spartan training these past few days and my body feels terrible, and not to mention that I think I sprained my neck..hahaha

My school week is pretty fun, have like 7 classes each week, two on Tuesdays. I just have to say that I really hate Tuesdays, especially the second class. Hateful teacher.. I really hated oral presentation before but now it feels like I’m getting better and better every time we do it.. Did I mention that I’m the team leader for the  class groups.. I know that I’m someone people can rely on *cough cough* .

The most interesting thing when doing the presentation is Keynote (mac software).  Personally I really like that program and after soooo many hours spent on making the presentations ( Lukas the one done all the jobs)  our presentation always succeed to impress the audience…^^.

Also I got moved to intermediate Chinese level 2. Apparently the teacher felt that I had the ability to join the intermediate level  2.

Since I came to Taiwan I’ve been sick once, got a terrible coughing which make dizzy and everything which lasted for 1 week +.

And Yeah,  just to let you know a fun fact ANN+SHOPPING doesn’t go well together.  I spent waaaaaaaaay to much money on the clothes.

In two week I will have mid-term exam don’t really know what to expect because I never had mid-term exam before…

Joe told me that I’m the class’ moodmaker.. I wonder if that is true?? Well I might be kind of obvious with my mood and my mood just lighten up with the color green.. Joe once had a LIME green folder which she exchanged with me and just make my day soo much brighter..hehe I’ve collected so many green things since I came to Taiwan.  Now that we are talking about color, I just have to say this; I really don’t like pink but ever since I came to Taiwan my cloth collection just get more pink than ever..!!

Well have to go to sleep now..have to prepare for tomorrow.

After many days...weeks

It's been quite a long time since I've blogged about my life in Taiwan, so I don't really know where I should start.....
Yeah I know! We can talk about the courses that I'm currently taking first.

1. International Business Management
2. Theories and Practices of Negotiations
3. Walk through Political management by cases
4. Intermediate Chinese 1
5. Operation Management
6. Cross-strait political

Those are the courses I'm taking for the moment which is equal to 19 credits, but none of them are economic courses (or so I believe) I'm required to take at least 8 credits of economic courses..So now I don't even know what I will do with my wonderful future when I come back to Sweden.

Well apart from school everything else is fine, met nice people. I want to go to the KTV but haven't done that yet..but I'm still looking forward to it. So for the moment I will try to improve my chinese as much as possible..
I know that if the ABC guy (aka Buddha)  is reading this now he will be laughing his *ss off and says that it will be impossible for me...FYI my chinese is actually improving..heheh.. xP 

I've been to Deep passion twice and Room 18 once...went to Room 18 together with Steph and Joe really love those two..they are so wierd just like me...( well all of us are from Scandinavia so that might explains something)

Oh!!!!I forgot to say that I tried the basketball throwing game 2 days ago and scored 176 points on my first try...(well my arm got tired and I scored less the second time..) it was soooooooooooooo much fun!! *BAM BAM BAM*
And afterward I went to the grabmachine ( the machine with toys and and metallic arm to grab it) and I won a Pinkpanter nightlamp! reaaaaaaaaaaally cute..got it on the second try = 20NT

I just realised that I'm actually spending a lot of money on food...I wonder why..I mean I spent like 1700 NT on food + some other stuffs..

Today I had might weekly tutor time together with a teacher assistant for chinese..George is a suuuper die die bu shou guy !! hahah but he was suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper nice... and the other from the club too...AND yeah I joined their club..but not officially yet,'cause haven't filled in the form. Classical MUSIC... hehe out of all clubs... but what can I do? I really do love classical music( no need to be outside)..
